Line 28 is Lisbon's most famous public tram, and often its most crowded. Our private vintage tram gives your group the same atmosphere, with the carriage reserved for you alone.
Not the public line, but familiar streets
Our private ride is not a scheduled public service. It follows our own itinerary through Estrela, Chiado, Baixa, Alfama, Portas do Sol, Martim Moniz, Rossio, historic areas that many visitors associate with tram 28.
The tram runs on rails, so the itinerary is sometimes adjusted to road conditions and traffic. We can never guarantee a specific route, although it typically includes the places mentioned above.
What changes when it is private
No tickets, no queue at the stop and no standing in a packed carriage. Your group has every seat, and your English-speaking guide shares live commentary along the way.
What it costs
Private hire starts from €1950 per tram, per departure, for up to 24 guests. With both of our trams running together, groups of up to 48 guests ride at the same time.
Two optional add-ons are available: the pastel de nata and port wine sample at €850, and Lisbon hotel transfers at €975, each per group of up to 24 guests. Indicative starting prices per tram. Your final price is confirmed in your proposal, based on date, time and route.
